Please read this document before ordering or using a HostCS.ro service. It includes the terms of service, acceptable-use rules, privacy information and cookie policy.

Terms & Conditions

Introduction
Throughout this document, the name "HostCS.ro" refers to the operator of this service, acting as the PROVIDER.

The services offered by HostCS.ro are intended for individuals, legal entities, legal institutions, etc., who have the legal capacity to enter into a contractual relationship, acting as the CLIENT.
All HostCS.ro clients are required to know and comply with these terms. Any breach may lead to the suspension of services and of the client account, with or without prior notice, as specified in this document, and without refund of any amounts paid.
HostCS.ro reserves the right to modify these provisions. New versions of the terms and conditions will be published on the official website at least 7 days before they take effect, and clients will be notified by email. Continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

General conditions
By registering, you agree to provide your correct name, address and other required information. Providing false data or refusing to update it may result in account invalidation or in HostCS.ro being unable to contact you. The information provided must be correct, current and real.
By accessing your account and using your personal password, you are responsible for all actions resulting from their use. HostCS.ro cannot be held responsible for errors arising from the client's negligence regarding the security and confidentiality of their account and password.
The minimum age for using the services is 14. If you are between 14 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the site and our services. HostCS.ro does not assume responsibility for verifying clients' age.
The client may place orders on the site by adding the desired services to the shopping cart, then completing the order by making a payment using one of the methods indicated on the site. Adding a service to the cart without completing the order does not constitute a registered order.
The client is obliged not to disclose or copy the software applications implemented on our services. Exchanging purchased services between clients (for example, transferring services, credit, etc.) is not permitted without the prior consent of HostCS.ro.

Game server hosting service

• Modifying the number of slots in any way (including adding fake slots) is not permitted. Our system automatically detects this and immediately suspends servers that violate this rule.
• Support is provided only for host-related issues (for example, connecting to the server). For issues related to the game's gamemode or add-ons, we can only provide limited support.
• Installing plugins or modules that add fake players (bots) to artificially boost rank on sites such as gametracker.com is not permitted.
• HostCS.ro does not have direct access to the game server to edit your files. Any change must be made by you, through the Pterodactyl control panel or SFTP. Please do not share your login details with anyone else.
• Slowhack-type plugins that modify the player's client are strictly forbidden, except for servers with special modes (for example, zombie) that require such plugins.
• Each package has the specifications shown on our website (slots, RAM, CPU). If excessive resource usage is found to affect other clients on our shared infrastructure, we will notify you via a support ticket and work with you on a solution, including a temporary limitation of the service if needed.
• HostCS.ro continuously monitors server performance to ensure the best experience for all clients. We strive to ensure high uptime, but we do not offer strict guarantees in this regard, except where specified in individual contracts.
• HostCS.ro is not responsible for issues caused by plugins, gamemodes or other customizations added by the client. It is the client's responsibility to test the compatibility of these with our services.
• Servers that remain inactive for a period of 30 days may be permanently shut down and their data deleted.
• Game server hosting services are not eligible for a refund after activation, since they start running immediately after purchase.
• HostCS.ro offers hosting exclusively for CS 1.6, CS2 and CS:GO. Default configurations may be modified by the client, but doing so may affect eligibility for technical support.
• HostCS.ro provides DDoS protection for all game servers, but does not guarantee service availability in the event of large-scale attacks. In such cases, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend the service to protect the network, notifying the client as soon as possible.

Acceptable use policy

The way the client uses the services can affect the proper operation of the equipment and the network. The following activities are prohibited:

• Using the services to create or transmit computer viruses, worms, flooding, mail bombing, port scanning or denial-of-service attacks;
• Using the services for cryptocurrency mining;
• Using proxy or IRC scripts, including commercial scripts with known security vulnerabilities;
• Collecting personal information for illegal purposes;
• Unauthorized access to data, systems or networks (phishing, spoofing, hacking, etc.);
• Interfering with services provided to other users or with the network;
• Spoofing TCP/IP packets;
• Uploading infected or corrupted files;
• Restricting other clients' access to HostCS.ro services;
• Modifying the number of slots for game services;
• Running scripts via cron jobs at intervals shorter than 5 minutes;
• Abusive use of the services that affects the network;
• Violating applicable Romanian law.

Any abuse or violation of the terms and conditions can be reported to contact@hostcs.ro. HostCS.ro commits to investigating reports within 48 hours of receipt and taking the necessary measures, including temporary suspension of services. Repeated violations of these terms may result in permanent account termination, without refund of amounts paid.

Content policy

HostCS.ro's services allow you to upload, run and operate applications for both private and commercial use. It is the client's responsibility to check content for compliance with copyright and trademark rights. HostCS.ro's equipment and network may only be used for lawful purposes. The services may not be used for material that infringes copyright, sexually explicit or obscene content, viruses or pirated software, threats or harassment, discriminatory or violent content, or deceptive or fraudulent content. The client is required to respond to third-party complaints within 24 hours of receiving notice.

Content transfer

Transfers are offered as a courtesy service. We do not guarantee the availability, feasibility or time required to complete a transfer. The free transfer service is available for 30 days from sign-up. HostCS.ro is not responsible for data lost during a transfer.

Data integrity

The client is responsible for the security of their login credentials and account, as well as for saving their own configurations, plugins and maps. HostCS.ro assumes no liability for security breaches in applications installed by the client, or for data loss caused by the client's negligence.

Payments and billing

Payments are made in advance, based on the proforma invoice issued by HostCS.ro. The invoice amount must be paid within 7 days of issuance. In case of non-payment, services may be suspended. The client will be notified at least 48 hours before suspension, except in urgent cases.
Refund policy: game server hosting services are non-refundable, given their nature (automatic activation, immediately after payment).

Limitation of liability

HostCS.ro is not liable for damages caused by the temporary unavailability of equipment or the network. The client is responsible for their use of the services and for any damage caused to third parties.

Technical support

Technical support is provided only for active services with no overdue invoices. HostCS.ro offers support via support ticket or email. Elite packages benefit from premium support with top priority. HostCS.ro reserves the right to discontinue support in the event of indecent language or behaviour from the client.

Reviews and testimonials

By submitting a review, you grant HostCS.ro the right to use it for marketing purposes. HostCS.ro reserves the right to remove inappropriate or outdated reviews.

Account closure

To close an account, the client must open a request via a support ticket. All invoices must be settled prior to closure.

Coupons and promotions

Coupons cannot be combined and are valid only for certain services. HostCS.ro reserves the right to cancel any coupon or promotion without explanation.

Consumer protection

Under Romanian Law no. 363/2007 and Law no. 449/2003, clients benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt of the service, except for services that start immediately after purchase (for example, automatically activated game servers). To file a complaint, please contact ANPC (the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection) or use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.

Force majeure

HostCS.ro cannot be held liable for delays or interruptions to services caused by force majeure events, such as earthquakes, floods, pandemics or other similar situations beyond our control.
